Asthmatic participants with allergies needed for blood draw study

Women statistically have more incidence and more severe asthma compared to men. Thus, we are interested in comparing how male and female cells (monocytes and macrophages) respond differentially to asthma-related stimuli, and how sex hormones participate in this.

If you have allergy-induced asthma, and would like to donate blood for a compensation of $20, please contact us at either hlee253@jh.edu or mgirgis2@jh.edu. You may also call our lab at 410-955-1747.
