University Experiential Learning is excited to celebrate Student Employment Appreciation Week with the WHOLE Hopkins community!
All week (April 3-7) there will be programming, prizes, and special events celebrating our network of fantastic student workers and the efforts they bring to enhance all of our work!
How are we celebrating at each campus? UEL has dropped off celebration boxes at each of the campuses full of promotional goodies! Additionally here are some fun ideas: - Create a "Wall of Fame" with employee photos, customer compliments, peer-to-peer notes of thanks, etc. - Give your student a small "gift" with a fun one-liner! - "Thanks a latte for all your hard work!" (Coffee certificate) - "We hit the lotto with you on our team!" (100 Grand Bar) - Have all your full-time employees (faculty and staff) write a short note of appreciation. - Throw a party (pizza, sub, make your own sundae, or potluck for your students.)
What's on the agenda for the week? At the Imagine Center we will have giveaways, in-person, ALL WEEK as well as mini conferences for students on Tuesday and supervisors on Wednesday. Thursday is our AWARDS CEREMONY in person at the Glass Pavilion and to be Livestreamed on Imagine.jhu.edu.
