Due to extremely high demand, the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth has added an additional summer session for students in grades 2-6 at its Gilman School day site in Baltimore. Second-session programs will run July 16 to Aug. 4. Tuition remission is available for children of full-time JHU staff.
Courses include Cloudy with a Chance of Science! (grades 2-3), Inventions (grades 3-4), Through the Microscope (grades 3-4), Data and Chance (grades 5-6), Introduction to Robotics (grades 5-6), and Writing and Imagination (grades 5-6).
Gilman's 57-acre campus in Roland Park includes academic buildings, an auditorium, a science building, and indoor and outdoor athletic facilities. Classes meet between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Before- and after-program care is available at an additional cost.
