Nominations are open for Student Worker and Supervisor of the Year

University Experiential Learning is excited to announce nominations are open for the 2023 Student Employee and Supervisor of the Year Awards! All Nominations are due by March 10th and the updated nomination criteria as well as prizes for the 2023 awards can be found here.

The JHU Student Employee of the Year Award is presented annually to an outstanding undergraduate and/or graduate student who has made a significant contribution to the university through their paid student employment position (student job/paid internship) either on-campus or off.

We will also recognize the outstanding JHU supervisors who consistently bring the student employment portion of experiential learning full circle by guiding, encouraging, and mentoring our students.

Nomination criteria for JHU Student Employee of the Year and Supervisor of the Year includes: a brief survey and a recommendation letter. Nominations will be accepted through Friday, March 10. Click here to nominate your student or supervisor.

We are also seeking independent reviewers to read and score assigned nominations. All reviewers will attend an orientation webinar and should be prepared to dedicate two to three hours of time to reviewing during the week of March 13.
