Johns Hopkins University and Medicine will be providing free health screenings, COVID-19 vaccinations, and general health information this Friday and Saturday as sponsors of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Basketball Tournament and Fan Fest in Baltimore.
Government and Community Affairs in partnership with the Brancati Center for the Advancement of Community Care, the School of Nursing Center for Infectious Disease and Nursing Innovation, and the Johns Hopkins Medicine Mobile Vaccination Team will be at booth 6045 in the Baltimore Convention Center from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Friday, Feb. 24, and Saturday, Feb. 25. Friday's offerings include diabetes risk assessments, blood pressure measurements, and confidential HIV and hepatitis C screenings. On Saturday, fan fest attendees can receive free flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, and COVID-19 boosters for ages 5 and up, as well as diabetes risk assessments and blood pressure measurements.
