Researchers are looking for healthy volunteers to participate in a study to assess multisensory (visual, auditory, and tactile) performance while wearing an optical filter to simulate severe visual impairment. The study will involve several trials wearing a virtual reality headset and performing a simple localization task. Testing will be conducted in multiple sessions using different modalities (vision, hearing, touch) and can take between six and 10 visits (two hour/visit). Participants will be paid $20/visit.
If you are interested in participating or have any questions regarding the study, contact Dr. Arathy Kartha at akartha2@jhmi.edu.
