For many of us, our career is a large part of our identity, and the journey to retirement can spark a lot of emotions. Are you having feelings of anxiety, dread, or even excitement as you approach your retirement and want to network with others in the same pre-retirement boat? If so, the Office of Benefits & Worklife is presenting a networking opportunity focused on retirement.
These monthly virtual meetings are aimed at JHU affiliates who want to talk about the social and emotional aspects of retirement, such as how you will spend your time, how retirement will impact your relationships, and how you can find your purpose. Exchange thoughts, concerns, and resources about the retirement journey to better prepare for a successful transition. You may even make social connections for after you retire.
This month the networking meeting is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 13. All sessions begin at noon. Registration is not required. This series is available only to Johns Hopkins affiliates. The remaining dates are Feb. 10, March 10, April 14, May 12, and June 9. After a break for the summer, they will resume in September.
Add this series to your calendar and join us on the second Friday of the month.
