COVID Relief PhD fellowship awards: Applications open

For many PhD students, the COVID-19 pandemic created extraordinary barriers toward progress and completion of their degree programs. Applications are now open for the final round of Dissertation Completion Awards, available to students whose time-limited funding packages have expired but who need additional time to complete their dissertation because of COVID-related interruptions. Applications are due Monday, Dec. 5.

For information and to apply, go to the PhD Covid Relief Fellowship website.

Faculty: Note that once a student applies, their application will be forwarded to their adviser and PhD program director who must attest that the information provided by the student is accurate.

Any questions about this process or concerns or problems with the application form should be directed to vpgraduateeducation@jhu.edu.

Additionally, there will be an open Q&A session on Zoom from noon to 1 p.m. EST on Tuesday, Nov. 22, for any students with questions. Advance registration is required for this Q&A.
