Due to the increased need for holiday meals, Johns Hopkins University is extending its Vernon Rice Memorial Holiday Turkey Drive donation deadline to Nov. 16. Now more than ever, your support is needed to feed families during the holiday season. You are invited to donate $45 to provide a basket of a fresh turkey and vegetables from a local free-range farm for a family in need. Johns Hopkins' Office of Economic Development and Community Partnerships, in collaboration with St. Anthony of Padua Church, will distribute the food baskets to the families for the Thanksgiving holidays.
To participate in this season's turkey program, Hopkins employees can use a credit or debit card by clicking the Donate button under the Vernon Rice Memorial Turkey Program tab on the Community Engagement webpage. All questions can be directed to communityprograms@jh.edu.
