Now accepting applications for the Predoctoral Clinical Research Training Program (TL1)

The Predoctoral Clinical Research Training Program (TL1) provides clinical research training during a student's early professional development that is tailored to their degree of interest. Clinical research is evolving rapidly and requires an increasingly sophisticated knowledge base, early acquisition of advanced skills, and more collaboration among disciplines.

Trainees receive funds toward tuition, health insurance, research-related travel, and a stipend. This predoctoral (TL) training program provides training for students interested in pursuing a career in clinical and translational research (combined master and doctoral degrees with MD or a nursing degree). This program is a collaborative effort of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, and the Johns Hopkins University Center for BioEngineering Innovation & Design.
