Veterans Day commemoration

Join our Johns Hopkins veterans for a Veterans Day ceremony to honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m., followed by socializing and refreshments at noon.

Originally known as Armistice Day, Veterans Day is celebrated each year on Nov. 11 to commemorate the ending of World War I at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918.

We are excited to have with us keynote speaker Andrew Coté, a JHU alum and former Marine, who has served as deputy assistant secretary of defense and is currently chief of staff and director of federal and defense sales at BRINC Drones. Sherita Hill Golden, JHHS vice president and chief diversity officer, will give opening remarks.

Registration is open to all. Please register on the event website by Wednesday, Nov. 9.
