The study takes place at the COACH lab located on the East Baltimore campus (505 N. Broadway) and consists of one phone call and three in-person visits, which last a total of about four to six hours. Participants can earn up to $60 for their participation.
To be eligible to participate, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be an English speaker
- Engage in hair-pulling behaviors
- Be able to attend three in-person study visits at the COACH lab
- Be comfortable wearing a wrist-worn device for four weeks
