If you intend to apply for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, we encourage you to attend one of two virtual writing workshops offered by the National Fellowships Program. These identical sessions will focus on how to approach the personal statement that is a major part of the NSF GRF application, including ways to address the NSF's "broader impacts" criteria.

Writing Fellow Jake Budenz is also available to review a draft of your personal statement. He will critique personal statements in two batches, those submitted by Sept. 23, and those submitted by Oct. 5. Drafts in each batch will be read and returned in the order they are received.
