The Peabody Preparatory's fall semester begins Sept. 7. Register now for private lessons and group classes in music and dance for students of all ages and experience levels.
Peabody Plus: Music and Dance Classes for Adults offers ballet, contemporary dance, guitar, violin, voice, music theory and technology, and the Community Chorus of Peabody.
Peabody Prescribe: Arts and Wellness offers PD Strummers, a unique guitar program for people with Parkinson's disease.
Numerous programs for young children (from 2 months to age 8) are also available, including Music for Babies and Toddlers, Music for Young Children, Music for Young Singers and Movers, Cello Fun, Fiddlers Four, Guitar for Young Children: Mini Pre-Twinkle and Pre-Twinkle, Suzuki Guitar, Young Children's Program: Creative Dance, Young Children's Program: Introduction to Ballet, and Peabody Children's Chorus: Training Choir.
The Preparatory also offers large ensembles, including Academy Chamber Music, Brouwer Guitar Ensemble, Harp Ensemble, Peabody Children's Chorus, Peabody Concert Band, Peabody Wind Band, Peabody Wind Orchestra, Peabody Youth Orchestra, Preparatory Jazz Workshop, Preparatory String Ensemble, Rodrigo Guitar Ensemble, The Misbin New Directions Ensemble, and the Young Artist Orchestra.
