Researchers are currently recruiting healthy volunteers between the ages of 18 and 35 to participate in an arm-reaching experiment in virtual reality.
The study consists of playing a game called Feed the Bird in a VR environment. You will be wearing a Meta Quest headset and using your hands to carry a virtual plate with food on it up to a bird, while researchers track your hands using a motion sensor. Other than age, exclusion criteria are neurologic or movement disorders, or pregnancy.
The experiment involves a single visit and lasts 40 minutes. It is located at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, 716 N Broadway; compensation is $15.
