Here is how students who have graduated can maintain their accounts on https://jhu.joinhandshake.com.
Students' JHED accounts will deactivate 180 days (90 days for School of Medicine) after graduation. They will receive a series of email notifications from the alumni team with information about activating their alumni email account. Email handshake@jhu.edu to let the Handshake team know which email the Handshake profile should switch to (alumni or personal email), and we will submit the request within 24 to 72 hours of receiving your email request.
Once the request has been made, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to confirm the email change, and alumni will continue to have access to their Handshake account.
