The Life Design Lab is having an exciting summer so far!
First, the Life Design Lab's new website can now be found under the Office of Integrative Learning and Life Design's "Imagine.jhu.edu" moving from Homewood's Student Affairs website. This new streamlined website is built to focus on more drilled down content and rotating more seasonally with updated features. All ways to access the Life Design Lab including office hours, staff listings, workshops and resources will now be found under the new domain.
Current students, prospective students, families and those just curious about the Life Design Lab will have the opportunity to engage with a much more streamlined digital environment possessing constantly updated materials and functionality as the website continues to adapt to the needs of all students.
The first step in the user journey of the new website continues to be to identify and interact with a Life Design Educator. From there students can start or continue the life design process as well as stay up-to-date on the latest workshops, programming, and events centered on all things career-related such as resume building, career search tips, networking best practices, employer panels, alumni discussions, interview practice, and so much more. The Virtual Summer Drop-In Hours take place from June 1 - Aug 17, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11a - 4pm (EST). Head to drop in hours here.
The Life Design Lab also encourages students to utilize resources that are available to all JHU students including VMock (resume assistance), Handshake (job and event listings), OneHop (a mentorship and networking platform), Linkedin Learning (free to all Hopkins students, faculty and staff) as well as viewing a plethora of articles and videos on the Imagine website that encourages everyone at any stage in their design journey to ideate, innovate, prototype, and take action.
The Life Design Lab at Homewood is proud to stand under the umbrella of the Office of Integrative Learning and Life Design to collaborate and continue to create an inclusive and accessible environment for all those within the Hopkins community and beyond.
