The 2022 Space@Hopkins Seed Grant program, with grants of up to $25,000 for one year, is now open for proposals for space-related projects. Topics of the proposed projects may include, but are not limited to, robotics, astronaut health, planetary sciences, solar physics, Earth science, spacecraft engineering, sensors, and astrophysics. Civilian space-related proposals are welcome from all Johns Hopkins divisions.
The proposed work must be relevant to Space@Hopkins and JHU institutional research priorities, provide undergraduate research opportunities, and have excellent prospects for leading to external research support. Preference will also be given to interdisciplinary work. The Space@Hopkins team is happy to help principal investigators by finding a compatible research collaborator from another department or division within the university, and/or by identifying interested undergraduate students. The Seed Grant period of performance will be September 2022 to September 2023.
