New funding opportunity for all JHU divisions

The Alliance for a Healthier World Impact Grants provide early-stage funding for multidisciplinary teams from across divisions of Johns Hopkins that are ready to develop and test a solution or intervention to an important health equity challenge in collaboration with local partners and communities in low- and middle-income countries. The funded research will align with one or more of the three priority areas of the Alliance.

Teams will have one to two years to undertake their proposed activities, develop plans for sustainability, and build capacity. All teams must involve co-leadership from health science and non–health science divisions. A preference will be given to teams that demonstrate a pathway to continue their projects past AHW's initial investment.

In concert with local partners, teams go on-site to scale up seed project solutions, collect data to evaluate and report results, design innovation products, or implement services and plan next steps.

AHW will award up to three grants at $100K each. Details are available on the Funding Opportunities webpage of the Alliance for a Healthier World website.
