The Life Design Lab and Hire at Hopkins has put together a hiring initiative (JobsForJays) to assist students graduating this May who are looking to secure a full-time job after graduation.
On April 14th, there will be over 50+ companies who are specifically recruiting ALL Hopkins students including undergraduate, master's, doctoral, post-doc, and international students to fill their open positions. Jobs will be open for 10 days.
To receive a list of all the jobs posted on April 14th, you have to RSVP for the JobsForJays event on Handshake
How to get ready in the meantime?
In past JHU hiring events like this, 40% of students did not advance past their screening interview because their resume was not adequately tailored to the relevant job postings. To remedy this here's what you can do:
- Get your resume ready by using VMOCK, an AI powered tool that provides direct feedback on content and formatting of your resume in 60 seconds. (Aim for a score of 70+!)
- Visit your department's career center
- Attend one of the workshops, specifically resumes/cover letters, hosted by the Life Design Lab at Homewood that are open to ALL students. Visit Handshake to RSVP for the workshops!
