J.A.J. Memorial Poker Tournament

The first 20 undergrads to sign up by emailing reunion@jhu.edu will receive free admission!

Hosted by JHU PAWS, the J.A.J. Memorial Poker Tournament is held in memory of Jonathan Jarzyna, KSAS '97, an alumnus who died in 2011, just shy of his 38th birthday, from an undiagnosed heart condition. After his wife and friends, two of Jon's biggest loves were animals and poker. As a way to honor him and keep his memory alive, seven years ago his friend and classmate Matt Zaft, KSAS '97, decided to sponsor a Jonathan A. Jarzyna Memorial No Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament at Johns Hopkins University. It is a $100 buy-in for alumni ($25 for undergrads), and 100% of the entry fees go to the local MSPCA as a donation in Jon's memory. Sign-ups are on the Alumni Weekend webpage.

A Potbelly catered dinner will be provided.
