Join university leadership for the official launch of Johns Hopkins University's DEI strategic plan, Realizing Our Promise: The Second JHU Roadmap on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The launch event will include two sessions featuring leading voices and experts in diversity, equity, and inclusion work and information on the implementation and execution plan processes.
The morning session from 11 a.m. to noon will include a keynote address from Freeman Hrabowski, president of the University of Maryland Baltimore County, as well as a discussion of accountability, investments, and an implementation timeline for the new Roadmap.
The afternoon session from 3 to 4:30 p.m. will feature expert speakers to discuss cutting-edge strategies to advance DEI and offer an opportunity to connect with colleagues before the event concludes with a closing celebration.
