This exciting experience gives you the opportunity to lead a group of new students through Orientation and their first year at Hopkins while earning a generous stipend. First-year mentors, or FYMs, play a vital role in creating a community of care to ease the transition for first-year and transfer students joining the Homewood campus community.
Through our extensive training program, you will learn more about our institution and community while making meaningful relationships with other mentors. After training, you will be able to share your new knowledge, and your personal experiences, with our new students.
