The Neuroplasticity and Development Lab at Johns Hopkins University is seeking participants for an MRI experiment that investigates the effect of visual developmental experience on cognitive and language processes in the brain. The lab is looking for participants between the ages of 55 and 70, who have normal hearing and normal or corrected vision. Additionally, participants should have between 13 and 21 years of education.
Participation will involve a one-hour visit on campus, and MRI-eligible participants will complete a follow-up two-hour visit at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. Participants will be compensated up to $90 for the entire study duration.
Note that to be eligible for this study, you should be able to make out human speech under loud background noises. Participants who are MRI-eligible must have no irremovable metals in or on the body.
