Participants needed for research on hair pulling

Researchers are looking for participants for a study to help us learn more about hair-pulling behaviors in order to improve available treatment options. The study takes place at the COACH lab located on the East Baltimore campus (550 N. Broadway) and consists of one phone call and three in-person visits that last about four hours. Participants can earn up to $60 for their participation.

To be eligible to participate, you must:

  • be 18 years of age or older
  • be an English speaker
  • engage in hair-pulling behaviors
  • be able to attend three in-person study visits at the COACH lab
  • be comfortable with a device worn on your wrist for four weeks
