Explore Engineering Innovation, an in-person and online course for high school students

Applications are now being accepted for Explore Engineering Innovation (EEI). Over this four-week course, students complete lab activities in civil, chemical, electrical/computer, mechanical engineering and materials science. Students learn to think and problem-solve like engineers and have the opportunity to earn Johns Hopkins University credit. Tuition remission can be used by eligible faculty/staff.

By applying knowledge of math and science to labs and hands-on projects, the concepts students learn in high school classrooms are linked to real-world practice. The experience of attending college lectures, problem-solving, and testing theories empowers students to think like engineers and helps increase their overall confidence.

EEI (In person) will be held July 5–July 29.
EEI (Online) will be held June 27–July 29.

The application is available on the Whiting School's Engineering Innovation website.
