The Johns Hopkins Center for Immunization Research is looking for healthy volunteers to participate in an inpatient shigella challenge study. If you are between ages 18 and 50, you may be eligible to participate. The study is three months or nine months long and requires the following:
- 2 screening visits
- 1 or 2 inpatient stay(s) of 10 days
- 4-5 follow-up visits after each inpatient stay
Eligible people will be compensated up to $3,000 for one inpatient stay and up to $5,750 for two inpatient stays. For more information, call 410-955-SAVE (7283) or visit the CIR website.
