Explore Engineering Innovation, an in-person and online course for high school students

Applications are now being accepted for Explore Engineering Innovation. Over this four-week course, students complete lab activities in civil, chemical, electrical/computer, mechanical engineering, and materials science. During the course, students learn to think and problem-solve like engineers and have the opportunity to earn Johns Hopkins University credit.

By applying knowledge of math and science to labs and hands-on projects, the concepts students learn in high school classrooms are linked to real-world practice. The experience of attending college lectures, problem-solving, and testing theories empowers students to think like engineers and helps increase their overall confidence.

EEI (In-Person) will be held July 5 to July 29. https://ei.jhu.edu/explore-in-person/ EEI (Online) will be held June 27 to July 29. https://ei.jhu.edu/explore-online/

The application is available on the Engineering Innovation webpage of the Whiting School of Engineering website.
