Celebrated every November, National Family Caregivers Month is a time to recognize and honor family caregivers across the country. Taking care of others can take a major toll on one's life and health. To help support caregivers, a webinar titled Stress Relief for Caregivers will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16.
This session will provide caregivers with a series of simple steps to reduce stress and avoid burnout, including relaxation techniques, healthy sleeping habits, healthy coping skills, and building a system of support. Participants will also learn about online resources and the importance of avoiding social isolation for mental and physical health.
