Nut allergy research study

Researchers are recruiting for a food allergy study at the Bayview Medical Center's Division of Allergy and Immunology. Participants must be age 18–40 and have a peanut or tree nut allergy. The purpose of the study is ?to determine whether ?an FDA-approved drug ?can prevent an allergic reaction ?in ?people with peanut and tree nut allergies. The study drug is FDA approved to treat certain medical conditions but is not approved to treat allergies.

This study:?

  • Will have three research study visits, spanning approximately three months, to?the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore
  • Is ?voluntary; you are free to not participate or stop participating at any time without penalty ??
  • Is ?confidential; your individual responses will not be shared ? ? ? You will be compensated for your participation.
