Future Fest 2021 Keynote Speaker: Kimberly Bryant, CEO of Black Girls CODE

Kimberly Bryant, CEO and Founder of Black Girls CODE will be the Keynote Speaker for Future Fest 2021. Black Girls CODE is a non-profit organization dedicated to "changing the face of technology" by introducing girls of color (ages 7-17) to the field of technology and computer science with a concentration on entrepreneurial concepts. Black Girls CODE has currently reached over 10,000 students and continues to grow and thrive.

Her Q&A will be hosted by Vice Provost of Integrative Learning and Life Design, Dr. Farouk Dey, on October 7th at 8pm. Registration is open for all students, staff and faculty and can be found here

Prior to starting Black Girls CODE, Bryant enjoyed a successful 20+ years as an Engineering Manager for various Fortune 50 companies.
