Applications for the Spring 2022 Dissertation Completion Awards are now open. These awards are part of the ongoing PhD Fellowship Awards for COVID Relief.
The dissertation completion award is for students whose time-limited funding packages have expired but who need additional time to complete their dissertations because of COVID-related interruptions. Students who are provided with funding for the duration of their program are not eligible. Most awards will include a stipend, tuition, and health insurance for a semester or equivalent.
The due date for this round of awards is Friday, Oct. 1. Note that once a student applies, the information that they provide in their application will be forwarded to their advisor and to their PhD program director who must check "agree" boxes that they believe the information the student provided is accurate.
Any questions about this process, concerns, or problems with the application form should be directed to vpgraduateeducation@jhu.edu. Additionally, there will be an open Q+A session on Zoom on Monday, Sept. 13, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. EST for any students with questions. Advance registration is required for this Q+A.
