Johns Hopkins volunteers can play a significant role in our local and national communities in ending the pandemic. Johns Hopkins Health Education and Training Corps (HEAT Corps) seeks Johns Hopkins volunteers to be trained and supported to provide youth with health education and training regarding COVID-19. The program is taught through virtual platforms with schools and nonprofit organizations throughout the United States, several other countries, and with a particular focus on Baltimore City Public Schools. JH HEAT Corps is also seeking some Spanish-speaking volunteers to help teach the curriculum in Spanish.
Applications are due by by 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Sept. 8. Applicants will be notified by Monday, Sept. 20, if they are accepted into the JH HEAT Corps program.
