JHTV is pleased to share its annual report for fiscal year 2021. The pandemic made FY21 an unusual one, but the JHTV team made it an extraordinary one, as the report demonstrates. We took full advantage of momentum that had been building prior to the pandemic and used our digital connectivity to continue bringing the benefits of academic discovery to the world.
Among our FY21 achievements:
- Hosting the inaugural Pitch It On! competition, where female innovators vied for $10,000 in funding
- Awarding around $1 million in translational funding
- Receiving more than 400 reports of invention, slightly higher than our annual average
- Seeing more than $1 billion invested into our startups, including more than $700 million in venture capital
