In preparation for construction staging and setup for the new Hopkins Student Center, crews will begin the installation of construction fencing along the perimeter of the project site on Tuesday, July 13. The site will be located along the east edge of the Homewood campus, near the intersection of N. Charles and 33rd streets, and includes the areas currently occupied by the Mattin Center and Whitehead Hall.
Traffic disruptions and pedestrian detours will be in place beginning this month as well. Demolition of the Mattin Center will begin in the coming weeks. Please avoid the area and expect delays.
