Asthmatic participants with allergies needed for blood draw study

Women statistically have more incidence and more severe asthma than do men. Researchers are interested in comparing how male and female cells (monocytes and macrophages) respond differentially to asthma-related stimuli, and how sex hormones participate in this process.

Compensation is $30.

If you are 18–45 years old, have allergy-induced asthma, and would like to donate blood, contact the lab at aparuch1@jh.edu or mgirgis2@jh.edu. You may also call 410-955-1747.
