This course for musicians provides an introduction to music in health care and outlines the skills and knowledge needed for planning and executing musical performances safely in public spaces in a hospital. Taught by Dr. Sarah Hoover, with guest experts including musicians, music therapists, arts in health practitioners, health care providers, and hospital administrators, the course will present multiple perspectives on best practices for maximizing music's healing potential in a clinical setting.
