What We Think and Say Matters: How Unconscious Stigma May Worsen Our Mental Health

Mental health stigma remains a barrier for the recognition and treatment of mental illness, including among health care providers and staff. Often because of this unconscious messaging, many are missing out on opportunities for relief. During this webinar we will discuss stigma, "burnout," and where the research stands.

The webinar is scheduled from 3 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19.

Presenter Julia Riddle is currently an assistant in the Department of Psychiatry and Brain Sciences pursuing a postdoctoral fellowship in reproductive mental health at the Women's Mood Disorder Center at Johns Hopkins.
