In honor of the upcoming Mother's Day, Public Health Students for Reproductive Justice (PHSRJ) is hosting a virtual diaper drive for ShareBaby, a Baltimore diaper bank. Sadly, unmet diaper need is a significant issue in the United States: 1 in every 3 families across the U.S. struggles to afford diapers. In Baltimore specifically, ShareBaby has estimated that there are at least 25,000 young children who live below the poverty line. Birth justice and ensuring all parents have the resources to raise healthy children are core tenets of reproductive justice, and we're so happy to be able to help serve families in Baltimore with this drive.
