Nexus Awards are designed to accelerate research by providing rapid, targeted funding to address critical gaps in clinical and translational research. The focus of this award, sponsored by the ICTR Biomarkers and Diagnostic Testing Translational Research community, is to fund new projects or expand existing projects in the development or evaluation of biomarkers. The biomarkers can be in vitro diagnostics or in vivo imaging diagnostics for any aspect of pathophysiology.
The award provides up to $37,500 in direct costs for 12 months. Johns Hopkins researchers previously awarded early career grants are encouraged to apply.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, and must be submitted via the Nexus Grant Connection Request form found here.
