A small quantity of surplus furniture from the 555 Pennsylvania Ave/Newseum building has now been released to Hopkins faculty, staff, and students for home use.
Please visit our online inventory to browse available furniture including desks, tables, chairs, and bookshelves. Please take note of the image file name of the items you are interested in and then submit a reservation request for up to three items via this form. Furniture reservations will be on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed.
Pick up of furniture will be scheduled for only three days the week of April 19. You will have 30 minutes to pick up furniture and will use the same reservation form to provide preferred days/times. All attempts will be made to accommodate preferences, but they cannot be guaranteed. You are responsible for all movement and transportation of the furniture. You are encouraged to bring a floor dolly/hand truck as well as an adult helper to assist you. Storing of furniture on campus and/or use of JHU vehicles to transport furniture is not permitted.
