On April 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the SLC will host its second annual symposium, Collective Action for Environmental Justice, as a virtual event—an exciting opportunity for members of the Johns Hopkins community to come together and discuss sustainability issues as they relate to the university, our broader community, and the planet. The morning will include a keynote address by Carolyn Finney, author of Black Face, White Spaces, an update on the universitywide Sustainability Plan process, and presentations from students, faculty, and staff on environmental justice efforts across and in Baltimore City.
More information and registration are on the event website.
