The Second Commission on Undergraduate Education report recommends offering a first-year seminar to all incoming students each year. To help departments and faculty prepare to offer these seminars, the next Faculty Lunch & Learn will discuss the goals of the seminars and lessons learned from faculty who piloted the seminars in 2020. Join the discussion virtually from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
- Bertrand Garcia-Moreno, Interim Vice Dean for Natural Sciences, KSAS
- Aliza Watters, Director of First-Year Seminars, KSAS
- Laura Mason, Senior Lecturer, Film & Media Studies and History, KSAS
- Daniel Foster, Associate Professor and Chair, Liberal Arts, Peabody Conservatory
Come with your questions or to share your experience facilitating seminars at any level in the past that could inform the future of this exciting learning opportunity. All Homewood faculty are welcome!
