BFSA faculty meeting

Please join the Black Faculty and Staff Association for its faculty meeting at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, to discuss faculty recruitment, retention, and remuneration. This is an opportunity to express your concerns and hear the experiences/concerns of other faculty.

The BFSA's role is to help ensure the fair and equitable treatment of faculty, staff, and students at Johns Hopkins University, with a specific focus on policies and issues that impact people who identify as Black, and to be a critical resource for growing inclusiveness in pursuit of its objectives toward a richly diverse community.

BFSA continues to develop and cultivate working relationships with senior administration and operating units here at Hopkins. Additionally, the organization aims to serve as a trusted resource for JHU faculty and staff by providing a forum for meaningful exchanges that identify and address issues of value to us and our community, in and around Johns Hopkins. We have meetings with JHU leadership regularly and would love to discuss how BFSA can be a vehicle, and advocate, for concerns related to your interests and roles as faculty members in our shared community.

We hope that you can adjust your schedule to join us on this very important Zoom meeting.
