Now accepting  nominations to serve on JHU Innovation Fund's Steering Committee

The JHU Innovation Fund for Community Safety is now accepting nominations to serve on its Steering Committee. The Steering Committee, composed of people from the Baltimore community and Johns Hopkins, will help determine and select grant recipients.

The fund was established to support community-led efforts to reduce violence in Baltimore, with a focus on the areas neighboring our campuses in Mount Vernon, Charles Village, and East Baltimore.

The $6 million, four-year fund will fuel solutions-oriented projects, led by community members and grassroots organizations, designed to improve community safety and reduce the continuing threat of violence in our city and the communities in which we live and work. The proposal submission deadline is Feb. 25.
