The JHU Innovation?Fund for Community Safety is now accepting nominations to serve on its Steering Committee. The Steering Committee,?composed of people from the Baltimore community and Johns Hopkins,?will?help determine and select grant?recipients.??

The?fund was established to support community-led efforts to reduce violence in Baltimore, with a focus on the areas neighboring?our?campuses in Mount?Vernon, Charles Village, and East Baltimore.?
The?$6 million, four-year fund will fuel?solutions-oriented?projects,?led by?community members and?grassroots?organizations,?designed to?improve community safety and reduce?the continuing threat of?violence?in our city and the communities in which we?live and work. The proposal submission deadline is Feb. 25.
