The purpose of this research is to better understand the factors influencing the use of pod-mods among U.S. young adults, as well as to assess the perceptions of harm, use patterns, and addictive behaviors associated with their use. It also aims to assess attitudes toward cessation of use.
This study has been approved by Johns Hopkins University IRB under protocol number: IRB00226738. The principal investigator for the study is Michael J. Blaha. This study is funded by the American Heart Association Tobacco Regulation and Addiction Center (A-TRAC).
