Starting Monday, Sept. 21, and continuing into November, construction crews will begin to remove the brick entry walls located at the entrance to Bowman Drive from Wyman Park Drive. New brick walkways and crosswalk will be installed along the north curb at Bowman Drive, and improvements to the brick walkway near the South Gate at Mason Hall will be underway.
The South Garage entrance, Bowman Drive, and Wyman Park Drive will remain open to vehicular traffic. Flagmen will be present to direct traffic. Some walkways will be temporarily closed and detour routes posted during the hours that construction is underway. Pedestrian walkways will be reopened at the conclusion of each day's work.
