Study volunteers must meet the following criteria:
- Be age 18 or older
- Have below the knee amputation
- Be willing to come in for multiple visits for as few as 6 months
Visits Include
- 1 blood draw
- 1 skin biopsy
- Up to 6 skin injections
Compensation for time and travel up to $500. The study is funded by Maryland Stem Cell Research Fund, the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, and the Department of Defense.
