Luce Scholars Program: One-year internship in Asia

The Luce Scholarship provides for a yearlong internship in Asia arranged for each recipient on the basis of specific interests, background, qualifications, and experience. The program was designed as a cultural experience for young leaders who have had no prior experience of Asia and who might not otherwise have an opportunity in the normal course of their careers to come to know Asia or their Asian counterparts and contemporaries. The program seeks to broaden their professional perspective and to sharpen their perceptions of Asia, of America, and of themselves.

Open to graduating seniors, alumni, and graduate students under age 30 (on July 1, 2021), the Luce Scholars Program has an Oct. 5 campus deadline. To learn more about the Luce, check out the Hub article on recent winners Seheri Swint (JHU SOE 2017) and Maya Foster (JHU KSAS 2020) as well as Seheri's testimonial on the NFP website.

Contact Dr. Miller at jemiller@jhu.edu in the National Fellowships Program immediately if you are interested in applying.
